Tools and tips to make you a 21st Century teacher!

What do you mean YouTube is blocked?

As an educator it is so frustrating to know of so many tools available to you, only to find out you can not access them.  Are you in a school where YouTube is blocked?  I am.  Even though there are so many GOOD videos out there, there are just as many POOR ones.  But educators, here's a solution to your problem. www.safeshare.tv

At Safeshare, you can convert YouTube videos into downloadable video files, similar to tools like www.vixy.com and www.zamzar.com , BUT - you can edit the videos, get rid of all the surrounding ads and delete the comments.  Try it out!  Just always be sure to preview all videos first before showing to your students.

Thank you so much. I happen to work where it seems so much of what I am looking for is blocked. I was even looking for author's websites and some of them are blocked! It is so frustrating.  It's good to know others share in that frustration and are able to share what they find.
